Missions Month

Throughout the rest of April, we will be discussing Missions and the part the church is to play in the overall Great Commission. We believe that the church is called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, meaning that we are to take the gospel into all the world, making disciples AND engaging in discipleship. While the Great Commission includes all international missions, it also includes national and local missions!

In Week 1 of Missions Month, Pastor Will discusses the idea that for the Christian, missions work is NOT optional. Scripture makes it clear that our faith should reflect our commitment to what Jesus has called all of his disciples to do: Go into ALL the world, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, while teaching them all of the things Jesus has taught us!

In Week 2, we are joined by special guest Terry Moore as he shares his ministry and some of the missions work their ministry is doing!

In Week 3, Pastor Will wraps up our series on missions with some thoughts on what missions means to the church and how we can apply these concepts.
